Hell, I almost quit the Dem Party Sunday night also

Here I was, still pissed off at the Dems for last week's war funding bill, watching Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee on HBO and Chief Joseph said "I will fight no more forever" and I'll be damned if another shot of Doctor McGillicuddy wouldn't have put me over the top!

And that's all I have to say about that.

2. I will not leave the Democratic Party and I will remain a Democrat for life.

One bad vote does not mean I turn my back on the party I have supported all of my adult life. There was never any promise that the Democratic Party would never make a mistake or that it would do everything the way I want it done. It is not perfect no more than the loved ones in our life are perfect and we don't turn our backs and walk away when they disappoint us. Some things are too important. Others may walk away and quit, but I will stay and work to make my party better. It's either the Democrats or Republicans who will be in power and I will take an imperfect Democrat over a Republican any day.
