ASSAULT ON REASON
I'm ordering this book because,...I know the assault, moreover battery and violence upon reason and justice in,...or rather AGAINST me, as an American: against all of us, Americans.

I was assaulted in September 2002 when the neocons launched their propaganda machine. I attended protests for the first time in my life, pre-Iraq war, because I KNEW those f*ckers were assaulting my intelligence.

2. This is a great book
I'm not one to say "everyone should...." but everyone should. Read it, buy it, discuss it, learn from it, pass it on.
Al Gore speaks with no bitterness, with great reason, and immense, profound understanding of where America has gone wrong and why. The things he says about Bushco -- well, they're the things we all know viscerally and intuitively, yet he puts it into the words I could never find, backs it up with research and experience, and in the end offers a little hope for us all.
