I was watching the Young Turks while the results from NH were coming in.

They had guest speakers. One was a blogger from HuffPo -- really nice girl (I can say that - I'm 54).

Anyway, she relayed the story of being at a dinner (I think it was in NH) where Obama fans booed Hillary. She was first of all upset because the media just printed "Hillary is booed at dinner" without specifying that it was Obama fans doing the booing. THEN she was really disappointed because she expected O to say something like "we all want to do what's best for our country..." -- essentially saying, in not so many words, that Hillary isn't "the enemy". But he didn't. She said she was disappointed because she wanted him to be NICE. Demerit.

Edwards SPEECH to his followers tonight rubbed me the wrong way, too. Several people had posted that it was his actual stump speech -- and it was. I think, talking to a room full of people who have worked their asses off for you, tromped through ice and slush, and have given you their support and money, they deserved better than that. Demerit.

Hillary - very nice speech, then into a 'candidate' speech, but she PRAISED ALL of the other Dems (except for Gravel) for all they've given to our country. That was classy. Plus.

After all my objective observation, I STILL WANT JOE!!!

But, I'm praying for a brokered convention....it's all we have at this point....and they would all have to think the other candidates were whacked to do that...so not much hope, but it's the thread I exist by. ;-)

and I will not be able to explain it that well, but say they go to the convention, and they can't come up with an agreement on a candidate. They can then choose ANY of the candidates, regardless of if they are still in the race or not. Point being, they will want to pick a winner, and do what's right for the party.

Someone can explain it much better than me, but that's it in a nutshell. If, by some miracle, they thought Joe would be the best choice, they could name him the nominee. Very, very slim chance, but stranger things have happened.

5. Edwards is in trouble, IMHO

I thought his speech in Iowa was less than gracious, I did not hear his speech tonight yet, I gotta get to school!!
