I am not voting for Joe tomorrow. |
|
I think what made up my mind was that article that was posted in the DE paper where Joe asked his supporters not to vote for him. I was thinking that this is what Biden would have wanted.
I'm going to vote for Hillary. I like her a teeny, tiny bit more than Obama. I'm sure some of you have seen my some of my posts out in gd-p and thought I like Hillay ALOT. Nah - it's just that I find some of the Obama people *really* annoying. :P
My 18 year old is casting her first vote ever for Obama tomorrow. I just asked her why, but never once tried to change her mind. . . . not like when Biden was running. Actually I didn't need to talk her into Biden, she saw how passionate I was and she said she trusted me on that one.
I'm rooting for Hillary, but if Obama wins ~ fine with me.

1. We're hitting acceptance |

I am so happy for you that you're comfortable with your decision. After reading that same article I also decided that I would take another look at the top candidates. I will likely vote for Obama, but it is certainly without the same enthusiasm that I have for Joe. For me the policy differences between Obama and Hillary are negligible. Its like deciding between a whopper and quarter pounder with cheese. You will more or less get the same thing.
I think Joe realizes that it's important for the process to go forward. Since the SOTU I feel like Joe has lined up whatever he wants. He sat with Hillary at the SOTU and spent more time talking about how big the Kennedy eendorsement was for Obama. It seems like he is comfortable with whatever role he will play and he's telling us, get up! We need to keep going, keep moving forward. We need a Dem in the WH.
So as i said before, I am really happy for you. I think that we are all starting to get up. Be proud of your vote tomorrow! It's a big first step for all of us.

All I ever wanted to do was vote for Joe - sigh.
Hillary or Obama will make a great President, and whoever wins the nom will have my support. But I will be thinking about Joe Biden the entire time.

4. I've been a bit conflicted |
|
about who to vote for, but I've decided that I will go ahead and vote for Joe this afternoon. If my preference for another candidate was strong, I'd vote for him/her, but it isn't, so Joe gets my vote. It is probably the only time I'll ever get to vote for him.

5. I keep flip flopping on should I/shouldn't I vote for Joe, but I think you best |
|
express my feelings, tsegat. If I had a preference between Obama and Hillary (which keeps flip flopping, too, but with no oomph to either), that would be one thing. I'll vote for Joe, too, in May -- like you said, the only time we'll ever get to vote for him. Unless we move to Delaware. :hi:

7. There was no write in place on my ballot.... |
|
and as we all know, Biden wasn't on there, so I guess it's a good thing that I made up my mind.

8. I voted for Joe - I'm so disgusted with both Clinton and Obama |
|
and damnit, I'm in Delaware - my vote is going for Joe.
I've had Obama supporters all over my place like a cheap suit. One just knocked on my door 5 minutes ago (polls close in 20). Told her that the Obama people were a nuisance - wasted too much paper and I was proud to vote Biden but I would have voted for Clinton first.
That's just how I felt.
