2. oddly enough, something made me wonder if joe's old site was still up

I clicked on the blog page and there was a link to huffpost I hadn't seen before.

3. It is so sad going back there

All the energy and promise are gone - seems like a lifetime ago.

I love bunnies. We used to have three of them. My son sent me that pic and thought this was the perfect place for it. Kittens are kinda cute too!

4. mainly dog person myself but...

...I'd have all kinds of critters if I could. One of my dogs is a serious predator though, so no little critters for now.

5. I had always considered myself more of a dog person

but circumstances led us to bunnies years ago. I never cared much for cats, but evidently cats had different ideas and now my yard is a cat magnet. Sadly I am still very allergic to them, so the cat and her kitten who adopted us had to go live with my son a year ago. That was heartbreaking, as I was very attached, but it worked out for the best.

So now I have critters in the yard where they are safe from the many dangers of suburbia, and I have the pleasure of their company each day.
