1. I think it's fantastic!! |
|
And omg - I agree with Rove (shhh - don't tell anyone) but Biden fills in for Obama's weaknesses.
Biden either for Veep or SoS.

3. I'm iffy about Joe as VP -- |
|
I think I'd rather see him as SOS -- it's more IMPORTANT :7
These were Rove's picks as to who he thought would be the best, from a short list he was given, so essentially it's his opinion.
And HI BEN!!! :hi:

5. I think I'm the only dissenting voice in our group -- |
|
but I'd love to see him take on Mittens. AND - I think he'd be a big draw on the ticket - it would be good for our Party.
It's just personally, I just don't like him in the Jr. Exec. position.

6. I don't think any of us Bidenistas do |
|
but I'd be thrilled if he took it. I think he would be a great influence on Obama.

7. I think many of us struggle with the limits Joe could have as VP. |
|
We all know how great he would be at campaigning for Obama, "but then what?" (I'll actually credit JB for using his words) What would his role be then? Because that is so unclear, I believe that is why many of us grapple with the pros and cons of Joe as VP. I agree that SoS is the safe bet for Joe impacting the issues he cares most about.
I have to admit though, I'd be proud to put an Obama/Biden sticker on my car!

8. Well put -- the limits Joe could have as VP. |

That explains my hesitancy perfectly. :hi:

9. I'm enthusiastic. I think he'll make a kick ass VPOTUS. Look, it's a mystery |
|
still how ANYTHING is going to operate under the Obama administration. But if we're going to trust in the change, and have faith in Joe, I back the bet that says the way it turns out will be good for Barack, good for Joe, and good for America.

11. interesting article - thanks for pointing it out |

Haven't had much time for DU the last week so I might have missed it otherwise.
Glad to hear Obama is a fellow night-owl! I bet Biden is a morning person - anyone know?
And this could be me: "Mr. Obama can have a photographic memory of intricate details, but he often struggled to remember the names of local political supporters he had met." I can tell you all kinds of detailed things about a person and have no idea what their name is.
