Biden or Bayh for VP? But beware - Biden committed plagerism and is a loose cannon |
|
Why are people so afraid of this man? Other than he'd wipe the floor w/any of them (and make 'em think he just took 'em dancing!) http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=6500309&mesg_id=6500309

2. And the msnbc veepstakes is now down between Hillary and Biden! |
|
Biden won last week out of clinton, Sebelius, Edwards and HIM :)
Obviously alot of people are rooting for Joe, so who cares about these people that can't find anything better to talk about that something that didn't even happen 20 years ago.

12. Clinton won't happen because of Bill |
|
Read another interesting take in a UK paper on the plane yesterday, apparently Obama campaign doesn't feel they can vet her because of Bill's unwillingness to hand over donor list for library, and rumors of other women...YMMV?
Could be a rag that I was reading, but my observation of the chill between BC and BO is one that says, that marriage will never work (Bill and Barack)

19. That would definitely be a problem. |
|
It's too bad, they would be a good team.
Personally I would rather see Hillary in charge of reforming healthcare...but this time with a Dem Congress behind her. It is her passion and is one of the reasons she won me over.

3. I am so fed up with the |
|
"loose cannon, foot-in-mouth, has a habit of making gaffes..." crap, that I just responded to one of those posts with:
Name all the gaffes that Biden has committed.
No response. It's my position that it's the same handful of -- mostly misrepresented -- statements that keep making the rounds. They make it sound like from the moment he wakes up 'til the moment he falls asleep he's spewing shit. :grr:

After Bush's "crusades" and other mega-gaffes, Biden's verbal slips are nothing.

With the popularity of that cry, you'd think there would be SEVERAL wanting to jump in. :eyes:
Oh! And then - some idiot said Biden is war loving and would appeal only to those in the center who support the war.
WHA? I said Biden has been trying to get us out of Iraq for YEARS, and that he's rated more liberal than Obama.
It was a new DUer. I didn't bother welcoming him/her.

I'm listening to that conference call (I was working all day - imagine that!) and it's depressing me - huge Biden withdrawal.

7. Uh oh - I've been thinking, |
|
All this interest in Joe as VP, it's kinda funny how the true Bidenites would rather see him as SoS or to stay where he is. Yet, people are coming out of the woodwork to say Biden should be veep.
Do you think that people are having 'buyer's remorse'? That people are starting to wake up to the fact that Biden was the one, the straight talker, the true liberal?
I just find it interesting that so many people are turning to Biden as the best one to help get Obama elected. It's a Biden phenomenon - a Bidenomenon?
Ya think?

22. I've seen a lot of "buyer's remorse" lately |
|
A lot of people are disillusioned with Obama right now, especially after his FISA vote. For me it is the opposite. I didn't have a very high opinion of Obama in the beginning, so he is actually looking better to me, but he can't come close to Biden.
