Good reading

It's about Richardson - but even Yepsen is questionning his poll numbers in Iowa.

But the reason I posted this is because of the comments.
People like Joe in Iowa.

And Richardson??!! You have got to be kidding.
His plan for Iraq is ridiculous. He touts his resume', but what has he accomplished???
Anyone can meet with Foreign Leaders - but has he gotten anything done? Does anyone seriously think
that Kim Jong Il would listen to Richardson? I don't see him as having the type of personality that people
would take seriously.
Under Richardson, poverty, education and income have gotten worse. I have heard the argument that he is from a poor
state. Well I am from Arizona and that excuse doesn't fly with me. ugh - Enough about Richardson - this post is suppose
to be about Biden:eyes:

1. I was thinking about this
and I wonder if Joe dosen't need to speak on other issues as well as the war. I agree that the war is the most important issue and that is hard to get anything done as long as the war conditions do not change but maybe he should work in more domestic issues as well.

2. I agree. Maybe that is why he keeps getting labeled as SOS
He has great policies on the environment, infact I read something recently that showed he is more
progressive on environmental policies than the frontrunners regarding to coal manufacturing. He is great on education.
Civil rights, Women's rights... there are so many other issues that he could sell himself on.

What I worry about - is the upcoming funding vote. He will probably vote for it again, and
that is going to hurt him bad in getting the nomination. What I wish he would do instead, is propose legislation
that is seperate from Bsh's bill, that spells out in no uncertain terms money for the troops ONLY and breaks it down to where the money would go... and include accountability in it. I bet Hilbama would vote for that as well... and wouldn't that be a feather in
his hat?! Cuz you know that they are agonizing over this upcoming vote as they try to pander to everyone. Biden could come
out as the leader on this if he handles it right.

Isn't he going to Iraq soon?

3. He does
It's just that the war is at the forefront of everyone's mind. He has talked about the Violence Against Women Act, reproductive rights, conservation, health care, rich person's tax cuts...etc! You name it, if a person asks a question - Biden has an answer.

4. It's probably the media reporting it that way.
Biden has no problems answering questions - you are so right :) - but to me the best
part is that his answers are not scripted.
