Where are you guys?
I swear I must have been a Republican in my last life because I had a hell of a time finding a stream that didn't futz out. Nomad (here on DU) posted a live TV feed which saved the day.
So although my viewing was a bit spotty, I saw enough to get the gist.
But I'm really here to direct you to MSNBC.com
There's an interactive feature that shows you how their performances were rated by the viewers.
You can pick plus, minus or neutral for EACH candidate.
I screwed up because after I did that I received a message saying You can only vote once -- are you sure you want to vote now?
I thought that meant I could only vote for one candidate, so of course I voted for Joe. What it actually meant was make sure your ratings are accurate because you won't get another chance.
Then you can view the results and compare before and after debate ratings for each of them. Biden's went UP, and at the time I looked, Hillary, Obama, Dodd (surprisingly to me) went down. I'm going back to look at the rest but wanted to alert you to this in case you were interested.

2. On the front page of MSNBC.com there's a little red arrow-flag thing that |
|
says INTERACTIVE. Click that.
I've just copied the before and after (plus only) comparisons and I'm going to go start a thread. I'll come back with the link -- it will be interesting to see how your vote changes the before and afters.
Interestingly, BEFORE the debate there were 11, 259 votes (or respondents, not sure which), AFTER at the time I was copying the info, only 2.668. The total is down in lower right corner where you click before and after. I'm curious as to how many 'afters' there will be when you get there.

"Most leadership qualities" - Obama? Hillary scored well on the positives, but on "rehearsed answers" and "avoiding the question" - 48% and 39%, she blew everyone away on those points!!! So in that sense she was number one.

9. That's a different vote than the one I was referring to. Obviously the |
|
responses are by the candidates supporters -- who on earth could have thought Obama showed ANYTHING but YAWN tonight?
And Obama had a one-line? Do share!
I DID love Kucinich -- or you can have a president who's tall.

10. Then Edwards walked over |
|
and put his hand above Kucinich's head! It was funny.

11. I thought I posted this, but seem to have lost it |
|
Anyway, I popped over to the MSNBC Biden board and there was a newbie there.
"Your Senator Biden was THE most intelligent candidate tonight at the debate!! It truly opened my eyes up to who I HOPE gets the Dem. nomination. He seems to be the one with the most INTELLIGENT experience of them all. We have got to figure out a way to stop the momentum of Hillary though. According to the polls she is out in front, and I do not know why. I do not know many people who back her. Just because she was married to Bill does not qualify her. Oh if only Bill could run again!!"

12. The more exposure he gets, the more people realize what a great choice |
|
he would be. It is so exciting to see and hear comments like that -- and it's happening more frequently!
