acnnews 3 Zelaya Says He will Keep his Return in Secret
HAVANA, Cuba, July 7 (acn) Honduran President Jose Manuel Zelaya said in Nicaragua that he will return to his country but that he will not announce when his trip will take place in order to prevent any boycott by the de facto government. In statements to reporters in the capital Managua, Zelaya said that his current visit to Washington is aimed at meeting with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and other government officials, according to a wire of PL news agency, cited by Juventud Rebelde newspaper. Zelaya said that during his meeting with the US officials he will address the fulfillment of the resolutions adopted by the United Nations and the Organization of American States stating his return to his presidential post in Honduras. The death of Honduran citizens during last Sunday demonstration at the Tegucigalpa airport will not remain unpunished, said Manuel Zelaya, who called for peaceful actions against the de facto government, such as civil disobedience, strikes and mobilizations.
