1. Thanks for this info! It's sometimes hard to know how to help. This provides

a nice, concrete, practical action that people can take--donate money--and one that can boost morale to the underfunded forces for social justice, good government and real democracy. Just think of the $49 MILLION in your tax dollars and mine that our government has been shoveling into rightwing groups in Honduras, through USAID-NED, Republican Institute and other budgets, and multi-millions more in military aid. $25 or $50 in the hands of social justice groups can go a long way toward countering the influence of those egregiously misappropriated US tax dollars to the rich elite. The poor have people power, and organization, and courage, and word of mouth networks. A little money goes a long way. And if you can afford to give more, this is a good way to spend it.
