Whining from La Gringa in Honduras
http://lagringasblogicito.blogspot.com/

The whining is a good sign. They must feel their chance slipping away.
Let him eat tortilla with salt?

Blog post July 10 2009:

I wanted to share Honduran blogger Gerardo's article with you:
Honduras in Despair

Publicado por gerardoparedes en 6 Julio 2009

In the face of a world turned backwards.

When everything and everyone seems against you.

Even when you friends of old in the USA of whom an small country in Central America served so well in the 80’s

If a megalomanous Zelaya bent of destruction of our sovereignty fly all over our country in a venezuelan plane.

Count on his teacher, Chavez to use his vantage points Insulza and D’Escoto to score a lot of points against the legitimate government of Honduras.

When the OAS, the UN, the BAFA and the UFO’s and A.L.I.EN.S are against a tiny country in Central America that is supporting his freedom against totalitarism and Marxism.

When all of that happens, you will know that the end of this world is near, that the power of the USA is dwindling, like rome, when they put a barbarian as emperor, their empire started dwindling, they started moving their frontier backwards, and backwards, and more backwards, until those same barbarians who were afraid of them first became the ones to be feared. Beware that time. Beware for is it written it will come for a band of thugs leadered by Chavez is ready to take over the world as we know it.

Honduras will stand strong, we will be remembered in History for being the final frontier against marxism and communism as of today, XXI century socialism they call it, but they take away private property, they shut off the media, they wipe off the opposition, they run for office forever. Yes, the final frontier wasn’t a Star Trek motto, the final frontier is here, freedom fighter from america, if you want to help defend this country against the left, you are welcome. When everything else fails and i am not able to use my digital pen no more to fight against totalitarianism, i am going to do what a patriot has to do and fight for our freedom, doesn’t matter what it takes. We will be on our knees but will never beg for mercy. The right must win. Its on the best interest of the whole world.

Zelaya and horse: Reader opinion

Comment left by AZelaya:

Thank you Gringa for putting the numbers out for the world to see why Hondurans are sick of Mel.

He talks about "los pobres" while spending like a king. He is one of the "elites" and he is acting like he is a "campesino". For years I was thinking: The day I see Mel Zelaya eating 'tortilla con sal'* just like the REAL Campesinos have to that is the day I will believe he love the poor of this country.

Instead what does he do?! Fly around the Americas on Honduras' dime with is horse, Cafe. Yes. All you who did not know that: put that fact in your pipe and smoke it! In 2007 Tegucigalpa was practically shut down due to a Taxi strike, we couldn't get anything done because no one could get to work those days and where was "el Señor presidente"? Riding Cafe in a parade in Nicaragua, smiling big as you please as if there was not a care in the world.

Mel Zelaya never did care what was going on "day in and day out" in our country. He was busy seeing the world and taking his family and army of maids and buttler and chauffers with him on his world tour trips. THAT is the REAL FACTS of the Mel Zelaya's view of the Honduras budget.

If he really did care about our POOREST people he would have eaten beans and rice at most and spent the money he spent flying his horse around on food for the poor, or medicine for the Government hospitals or raises for our health professionals who are overworked and underpaid in the government clinics. Mel never did car about the poor. They are just a VEHICLE for him to gain and keep power. The rich in the country are so few, that even though they have money they can't accomplish something like throwing Mel out on his ass, that takes a big chunk of the middle class and working class to accomplish this.

Bien Hecho Congresso y Corte Suprema y Pueblo de Honduras! Well DONE!! Show the world what having REAL BALLS can accomplish. And good thing we didn't believe all the dribble that came out of that despots mouth. He is trully very unstable.

1. Remarkable whining. You know how sincere they are when they turn and shriek obscenities
at Democrats, as we heard explosively, uncontrollably from summerloondancer. Quite the mouth on that one, the alternate personality of La Gringa who joined her almost simultaneously to add the appearance of Honduran oligarchy solidarity. Just happened to have some time to spend posting HERE during the mayhem in Honduras following the truly barbaric violent coup and seizure of the government.

Clearly someone was determined to manipulate American public opinion of their pompous, racist, socially deformed coup leaders.
