Manuel Zelaya, the Constitutional President of Honduras, has appointed Eduardo Enrique Reina as the country’s new Ambassador to the United States. Ambassador Reina will discuss President Zelaya’s current position and planned next steps for his return to Honduras.



Ambassador Reina is a former Vice Minister of Foreign Relations and, since September of 2008, has held the dual position of private secretary to President Manuel Zelaya and Minister of Communication. He will be replacing former Ambassador Roberto Flores Bermudez.
