and he went immediately back to Honduras to get instructions from his "new" leader Micheletti. He returned but the US State Dept. would not accept his accreditation because the US does not recognize the coup government (except under the table with lots of advisers and money.) About a week ago, zelaya appointed the "new" guy Eduardo Reina. And, by the way Reina is a good guy, cool and easygoing. Not a pompous ass like Flores Bermudez.
And another thing, Reina said that he got out of Honduras to get to US only by the help of the Spanish embassy in Honduras.
