1. magbana, did you catch the news conference?

I did not and was wondering whether it was confirmed that the National Police are on strike.

Late last night read report in La Vanguardia of Barcelona and also a blurb on Telesur print page that police had gone on a nationwide strike yesterday.

The sparse details said it was over a salary dispute but it could be that the police have broken from the golpista military. If so, that is a major crack in the golpista unity.

I did catch on Telesur TV a scene in which police at one station in Tegu. had chained the gates to their building with their own handcuffs.
