1. Armed men in the streets, notices that marking a ballot with political comments can lead to
4 - 6 years imprisonment, transparent ballot boxes ... what a sham!

2. Hiding behind the rows of killer cops & soldiers, a knot of puffy, pasty, weak, old traitors
who intend to keep democracy out of the country they have seized through treachery.

That may be a quirky rule they pulled out of their gigantic asses: the people who would be inclined to write something politically irritating to them probably didn't intend to vote anyway.
