Paraguay Fears Lugo Attack
Asuncion, Mar 18 (Prensa Latina) Most of Paraguay is focused on versions over a possible attack of the opposition presidential candidate Fernando Lugo by the governing party.
Local media published Tuesday declarations of the candidate from the Patriotic Alliance for the Change (APC) who admitted on Monday that he is afraid for his life.
The former bishop of the Catholic Church denounced that those supporting the Colorado's ruling Party may be plotting an attack against him to prevent the foreseeable APC victory in April 20 elections.
Lugo, with highest percent of voter intentions for the presidential election, said his security will not be stepped up, that citizens are his best guarantee
