Press reveals that the FARC trained civilians in Caracas-based Fort Tiuna
A report prepared by the True and Transparency Commission established by the Ecuadorian government to investigate the raid on Raúl Reyes' camp on the Colombian-Ecuadorian border, stated that a group of the Colombian Revolutionary Armed Forces (FARC) trained civilians in Caracas-based Fort Tiuna.

The news was given by Colombian daily newspaper El Tiempo, according to which the rebels trained participants in the first Congress of the Bolivarian Continental Coordinator (CCB) at the main Venezuelan military facility.

The officials responsible for the investigation also noted that guerrilla chief Iván Márquez had an office in Caracas.

The members of the Truth and Transparency Commission chosen by the government of Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa, attested to the evidence of this fact, to such an extent that they pointed out that the CCB was born as an international political project of the FARC.

They said that the first Congress was held in August 10-11, 2005, in Caracas, where the camp was envisaged as "a space for training activists of anti-imperialist fights."

Difficult to call the Truth and Transparency Commission "chosen by the government of Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa" a corpo-fascist group...

7. Uribe/Santos are drastically changing their tone
It started 2 weeks ago. Worrying.

Btw, now Chavez is talking about an alliance between the US and... the Netherlands (!?) for invading us from Aruba, Curaçao.

11. Chavez behaving like the Videla-Viola-Gualteri Junta
I don't think the US would bother to invade Venezuela, all they have to do is interdict tankers taking oil from Venezuela, and bringing in all the food Venezuela imports (they don't import as much by road because Chavez is cutting off trade with Colombia).

Chavez appears to be seeking some kind of external conflict, acting as the Argentina military junta did in 1982 when it started the Malvinas conflict, to make the people forget they were suffering from high inflation, a terrible economy, and lack of human rights.
