Amy interviews Hugo Chavez @ Copenhagen, aired today.
"Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez spared no criticism of the climate conference in Copenhagen. At a joint press conference with Bolivian President Evo Morales Friday he called the proceedings undemocratic and accused world leaders of only seeking a face-saving agreement. He described President Obama as having won the “Nobel war prize” and said the world still smelled of sulphur, referring to his comments about President Bush at the United Nations last year.

Shortly after the press conference I caught up with President Chavez for a few minutes."

1. Wonderful impromteau interview. He made a great point.
Leaders should worry if an outfit like the US hails them as great democratic leaders! :woohoo: Just like Uribe, Alan Garcia, Calderon. Oh, yeah! Fine democratic Presidents like Islam Karimov, who boils his prisoners alive, one of Bush's faves.

Amy Goodman did very well, and Hugo Chavez was great.

Thanks, EFerrari.
