IDB Agrees to Reforms, But NGOs Will Keep Up Pressure
MEXICO CITY, Mar 23, 2010 (IPS) - Although social organisations in the region got the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) to agree to a process of internal reforms, there are still doubts about how the changes will be reflected in the multilateral lender's new strategy.

1. Good to see their actions regarding Haiti. Too bad these things weren't accomplished long ago.
The staggering debt the people of Haiti have been forced to bear which was thrust upon them long ago, with absolutely no benefit for them involved should never have happened.

So glad to see this bit of great news. Thanks.
