the Caribbean, like Nelson Valdez, on Cuba, Daniel Lewis, on Argentina, Alexander Cockburn, Jeffery St. Clair, from Counterpunch, John Dinges on Chile, Gore Vidal, Tom Hayden, Robert Fisk, Robert Scheer, and other authors you may also want to hear.

For people interested in Cuba, there's a GREAT discussion with Francisco Aruca, a Cuban who has weathered years and years of intimidation, including bombings of his businesses, invasion of his radio office and beatings of his employees by radical reactionary right-wing Miami Cubans looking for Aruca, a man who has stood alone, heroically while advocating normalizing relations with Cuba in a town the FBI designated the "Terror Capital of the United States" years ago, due to the violent attempts to quash ALL political dissent in that town which was controlled so long by totalitarian idiots.

He discusses it with Saul Landau, whom many of you have read over and over, in his articles on the Spanish speaking countries and the U.S. at this site:

Francisco Aruca is the 3rd person down on the list. He discussed the Miami Mafia, its political power, social power, violence.

Here's another Aruca article to look through:

Here's the latest issue of Aruca's Radio Progreso news magazine, from Miami, covering local, Cuban, Haitian, Latin American events, the weekly El Progreso:
