I don't know where they are located or if this guy travels a lot and has been vulnerable to these death squad maggots, but the Uribe regime has been seriously, SERIOUSLY hostile to criticism, and to journalists, and paras have publicly discussed murdering journalists with Colombian journalists..... who wrote it all down in their articles.
Of course you know they freely admit they (Colombian journalists) freely admit they "self-censor" for self-preservation, themselves since things ARE that ominous for journalists in general in Colombia now, and for quite a few years previously.
If someone sees your thread knows anything about this I hope, if it's possible, to give us a hint about what could have possibly happened to this man.
He's uniquely brilliant, has a deep joyous response to life which shines out of the way he shines through his work, who but a deeply awakened, conscious, focused, moral being could express such merriment and wit with such presence, such seriousness? He's no fool, and that undoubtedly infuriates greedy, scheming, sociopaths who have only shriveled and died inwardly while others are growing, evolving.
They would see him as a threat. He, as well as so many others, has their numbers. So many people can see right through their sham civilized posturing to their festering, fetid hearts.
They hate people who tell the truth. That's why they go to such lengths to kill so many people. It has always been their method to kill everyone who seems to have influence they can't control, can't manipulate, cannot coerce, cannot terrorize into submission. Killing influential good people also, in their view, serves another purpose because it makes a public threat which they expect to intimidate, terrorize, and paralyze with fear people who might themselves attempt to resist them openly.
Everyone knows it worked in Chile so well that dissent was literally silenced for years after they tortured and killed enough of them, polarized and traumatized the country. Same in the other countries the fascists seized and controlled, with U.S. idiot Presidents' (like Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and George H. W. Bush's) moral, technical, financial, military support, even putting C.I.A. personnel in their newspapers, and pouring MILLIONS of U.S. taxpayers' hard earned resources into propaganda spewing out of their newspapers like Chilean Augustin Edwards' El Mercurio newspaper.
A dirty or frightened writer can get paid handsomely for his/her lies, while an honest man/woman can get killed for the truth.
Sounds very primitive, doesn't it? Sure sounds primitive to me.
Thank you so much for alerting the those at D.U. who are determined to learn the truth. I'm certain this is going to be something about which people will never rest until learning more.
March 3 was the date that news appeared at the website. Hope he has somehow survived and we will learn he's safe.
