New Castro, Same Cuba

This report shows how Raúl Castro has kept Cuba’s repressive machinery firmly in place and fully active since being handed power by his brother Fidel Castro. Scores of political prisoners arrested under Fidel continue to languish in prison, and Raúl has used draconian laws and sham trials to incarcerate scores more who have dared to exercise their fundamental rights. In particular, the Raúl Castro government has relied on a "dangerousness" provision in the Criminal Code that allows authorities to imprison individuals before they have committed a crime, on the suspicion that they might to commit an offense in the future.

3. I suspect they accused you of being an old Cuban
I got this from Wikipedia:

"Brigade 2506 (Brigada Asalto 2506) was the name given to a CIA-sponsored group of Cuban exiles formed in 1960 to attempt the military overthrow of the Cuban government headed by Fidel Castro. It carried out the abortive Bay of Pigs Invasion landings in Cuba on 17 April 1961."

The implication is that you are CIA financed, probably an old Cuban paid by the Obama administration to post snipets read by left wing Americans on Democratic Underground.

I must confess I'm not American, so my analysis of US politics is a little mixed up. I am only theorizing here, because I watch cable TV such as CNN and Fox news, and their coverage can be very confusing. but let me explain:

This could be part of Obama's atempt to convince DU participants, known for their political power in the halls of Congress, that socialism as practiced in Cuba is bad, because he wants to move them to the center-right, where his power base lies. Obama's move to the center right has been caused by the emergence of the "Tea Party" movement, led by Gleen Beck and Sarah Palin, who is known for her "Drill Baby Drill" slogans and carries an oil soaked bird on her shoulder as a sign of her unrelenting support for the oil industry. This Tea movement is made up of millions of righterous white Americans claiming their right to worship Jesus in their public schools, has nothing to do with tea the drink. The other factor is the increasing power of the Chicano movement, which insists on the right of Mexicans to own property in Arizona and hold Mexican flags in their school parades. Obama, who wants to make Afghanistan the 51st state (he was told by the Pentagon the Taliban will make excellent soldiers in the US Army when it invades Iran), has invited Hamid Karzai to Washington to kiss and make up, and join the Democratic Party. This will give Obama the credentials he needs to win the next elections, swept into power by the US muslim population.
