Venezuelan authorities seized 872 kilograms of marijuana from Colombian town councilor

General Franklin Márquez, the chief of the military regional command (CORE1), said that troops on the Venezuela-Colombia border spotted at a mobile checkpoint a car carrying illegal drugs, and arrested, among others, José Armando Chevez Prado, who is the head of the city council of the Colombian region of Puerto de Santander

The Venezuelan National Guard seized on Tuesday 872 kilograms of suspected marijuana in the northern area of the Venezuela state of Táchira. The president of the city council of Puerto de Santander (Colombia), José Armando Chevez Prado, was arrested in the operation.

The report was provided by General Franklin Márquez, the head of the military regional command (CORE1) of the Venezuelan National Guard, who said that the raid took place on Tuesday morning.

2. Absolutely, you bet. The sooner, the better. It has been a doorway for manipulation of governments
in Latin America, and a means of compromising the leaders, not to mention the horrendous, and unnecessary cost in human lives.
