Golpistas thinking of suing Correa's government |
|
Really.
Gilmar Gutierrez, brother of the nutball deposed former president Lucio Gutierrez, told the Expreso newspaper of Ecuador today that the PSP (Patriotic Society Party) had had nothing to do with the events yesterday. Gilmar G. demanded that Correa provide "solid proof" to back up his charges that Lucio G. was behind the plot.
If Correa does not provide that proof, Correa will wind up looking like a "charlatan," Gilmar said.
He said the party was "analyzing possible legal action" against the government.
Lucio G. was in Brasilia yesterday when things went down. Coincidence, or planned??
--------------------
Golpistas suing the government because their coup/assassination failed miserably.
Gotta be a first anywhere

1. Poor, twisted things. They always are so extreme, aren't they? |
|
They just can't get anywhere without perverting justice, fixing elections, or assassinating good people. http://i.ytimg.com.nyud.net:8090/vi/_8AKKHYgaWk/0.jpg
Gilmar, keeping them spellbound as always

they didn't have anything to do with it. While they might be evil, perhaps even they are smart enough not to launch a coup without the military.

they mistakenly believed that they had the support of the military. Perhaps they did have the support of the military, then minds were changed. Perhaps some of the players decided to turn it into a trap.
Here's to finding out the truth.

5. It would be good to know what happened in those 11 hours or so |
|
between the time Correa went into the hospital and the time he came out.
One of his body guards was shot dead on the way out. That's about as close as it gets. Correa left the hospital in a wheelchair, too, because his surgical wound had been re-injured.
