11. There are some really great interviewee statements in this documentary.
(My paraphrases--I took notes but they may not be exact.)

---

Nestor Kirchner said that, at a South American economic forum, Bush Jr. said this to him:

"The best way to improve the economy is war." --George W. Bush (quoted by Nestor Kirchner)

---

Oliver Stone asks Rafael Correa what he thinks of the U.S. media's rough treatment of him:

"I would be worried in they treated me well." -- Rafael Correa

---

And this one broke my heart (early in the Obama administration):

"I hope Obama will be an FDR and will bring a 'New Deal' to the whole world." --Hugo Chavez

2. Stopped after #3, will be right back at this later today. You have done DU'ers such a favor.
This is a tremendous opportunity for those of us who didn't see the film yet, and didn't buy it, either, yet. :woohoo:

I've seen it before, glad it is online now.

Last segment features Mr Obama's lie - promising to stop US intervention in LatAm politics.

7. President Obama is a good man
What US intervention do you see? I see a very distracted diplomacy. They are more worried about the Israelis and Palestinians, and the internal push they have from the Israel lobby and the military industrial complex is to start a war with Iran, and keep their imperial soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. I see no sign that anything else is that important. If Mr Chavez did not ally with Iran, then I am sure the Americans are very fine with Chavez. Castro understands this political reality, and this is why he made the gesture to be friendly towards Jews. I think it is important to always be careful, and to understand there are Jews, and there are Israelis. Israelis have a nation led by bad guys. Which means a majority of Israelis are bad guys because they elected this guy Netanyahu and they allow Lieberman to be their foreign minister. But not all Jews are bad. Many Jews, like Noam Chomsky, are good guys.

9. thanks for sharing
have only watched through number 4, going outside to do stuff with kids. Very good. I have a few minor quibbles but the stuff I didn't know that I learned outweigh them.
