El pasado 29 de noviembre de 2010, un grupo de cuarenta personas entre periodistas, congresistas, ex congresistas, un ex magistrado, miembros de organizaciones de derechos humanos, diferentes profesionales y un partido político, interpusieron una denuncia penal por crímenes contra la humanidad contra el ex Presidente de la República de Colombia, Álvaro Uribe Vélez (2002-2010).

Entre los denunciantes se encuentran Clara López Obregón, presidenta y representante legal del Polo Democrático Alternativo; la ex congresista Piedad Córdoba, el representante Iván Cepeda, los periodistas Carlos Arturo Lozano Guillén, Hollman Morris y Claudia Julieta Duque, el ex magistrado de la Corte Constitucional y ex candidato presidencial Jaime Araújo Rentería, y miembros del Colectivo de Abogados José Alvear Restrepo (CCAJAR), la Consultoría para los Derechos Humanos y el Desplazamiento (CODHES), la Comisión Intercongregacional de Justicia y Paz, el Comité de Solidaridad con los Presos Políticos (CSPP), la Corporación Sembrar y la Comisión Colombiana de Juristas (CCJ).

Los denunciantes fundamentan que ÁLVARO URIBE VÉLEZ, "durante el ejercicio de su cargo y destinando recursos de naturaleza pública, dirigió en su calidad de máximo jefe jerárquico y funcional del Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad - DAS, una masiva y sistemática campaña de persecución por motivos políticos que incluyó la comisión de delitos y la realización de actividades de inteligencia y contrainteligencia ilegales y que estuvo dirigida a "neutralizar" a una amplia gama de ciudadanos y ciudadanas que desde diferentes ámbitos del Alto Gobierno eran considerados "enemigos de la seguridad democrática", hechos que constituyen crímenes de lesa humanidad".

La denuncia se interpuso ante la Comisión de Investigación y Acusación de la Cámara de Representantes de la República de Colombia, en base a los arts. 174, 175 y 178 de la Constitución Política y 329 y ss. de la Ley 5ª de 1992, por la cual se expide el "Reglamento del Congreso; el Senado y la Cámara de Representantes".

I would also expect, clearly, all kinds of actions against the people involved, unfortunately. Of course they are all prepared for the gates of hell to blow open around them as he and his minions attempt to exact their revenge.

Also, there is evidence that go to prove the commission of other atrocities such as the psychological torture inflicted on "white " on which the agency deployed its illegal actions.

Illegal activities that ran the DAS included collecting information from individuals and organizations through the interception of communications without warrants, covert monitoring and infiltration, among other acts. Additionally, it has been established that DAS officials intentionally perpetrated direct threats against their victims through telephone calls, mailing of ballots, dismembered dolls, wreaths and other intimidating acts.

So glad to see this, must bookmark it immediately for future use.
