Chavez will not go with the international tide … civil war looming in Libya
Everyone is now calling Gaddafi a murderer, Chavez stated, and expects Chavez to follow suite. "I'm not convinced and I'm not going to condemn him … it would be an act of cowardice towards somebody who has been my friend, our friend, for a long time … without knowing exactly what is happening in Libya."

It would appear, the President conjectured, that there are elements of a civil war looming controlled by opposition groups.

Meanwhile, Telesur correspondent in Tripoli, Reed Lindsay has sent a twitter message informing that people in Benghazi have called on Bolivarian Alliance for the Americas-People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-PTA) member countries to abandon support for Gaddafi and support the "revolutionary struggle of the Libyan People.

What a filthy man Chavez has revealed himself to be in this sordid affair.
