Candidate launches anti-bailout ad in N.Y.
A Republican congressional candidate in New York is up with a TV ad (already!), and it reads like so many first efforts will in the months to come.

Randy Altschuler, a wealthy businessman who is challenging Rep. Tim Bishop (D-N.Y.), references Congress's bailout of the financial industry twice in this ad. It's a gameplan that has already been employed by former WWE CEO Linda McMahon (R) in Connecticut's Senate race and is sure to be repeated once other candidates can scrounge up the funds (both Altschuler and McMahon are self-funders).

While other issues can and will be used effectively, the phrase "$787 billion bailout" is tailor-made for political ads, and incumbents who voted for the bailout are going to have to deal with it.

1. You keep hearing about the bailout after Obama took office how come
no one ever mentions the 700or so billions that bush gave to whomever(cause we were not allowed to know) in November after Obama won the election. No body has ever mention one word about that. We still don't know who they gave the money to.
