He spent so much time snarling over the past few months and now he has nothing to say? What's up with that?

3. He's waiting till it dies down so he can rachet it up again?
Wonder what it would be like if Americans had died?

I believe Obama would have been under the jail by now.

Bush's approval rating went up to 90%.

Strange society we live in!

17. Had Americans died, Cheney would have probably taken a while to say anything,...
biding his time tactically. Creating the appearance of respect. After a time he would speak, "more in sorrow than in anger," but he would damn well make sure to drive the dagger home. As it is now? I suspect his silence is tactical in this case, as well--looks better not to gloat aloud.

Maybe the GOP got the STFU message to him in a way that sticks, so they can push their choice of idiots out there to blather about the Xmas bomber.

9. Maybe he got the memo. Reminding anyone as to why we went to war with
Iraq, now that Tony Blair is in hot water about it, could be pointing to an investigation about his role in it.

13. I mentioned it yesterday on another post...
...wondering why he's been so uncharacteristically silent about this.

As he only ever acts in his OWN self-interest, he must have a dog in this race. Maybe it's because the perpetrator was granted a VISA on his watch... ??

15. Does it occur to anyone
Cheney might have a hand in this attack. Just how did the man get through airport security?

A terrorist attack on Obama's watch would be his dream come true.

19. From all I read, that man became deeply unhinged after the 9/11 attacks
so I'd imagine he went into hiding deep in some underground bunker the minute the news broke.

Mr. 5 Time Dodger is a very insecure, fearful human being.

21. Oh please
That bum had something to say,you can probably find the clip on this morning's show of Morning Joe they showed the statement that he released. Basically it is the same thing that he has been saying all the time we are at war with the world and President Obama doesn't believe that everybody is out to get us and that is why we are less safe. And the policies that Shooter had implemented into the system is working so well that while he and Dubya were in office they kept us safe. Do you think maybe if we stop trying to think that everyone is against us maybe diplomacy could have a place. Can Shooter spell diplomacy.I had to use spell check.;) ;-) ;)

25. Cheney criticizing Obama
Former Vice President Dick Cheney accused President Barack Obama on Tuesday of “trying to pretend we are not at war” with terrorists, pointing to the White House response to the attempted sky bombing as reflecting a pattern that includes banishing the term “war on terror” and attempting to close the Guantanamo Bay detention center.

e are at war and when President Obama pretends we aren’t, it makes us less safe,” Cheney said in a statement to POLITICO. “Why doesn’t he want to admit we’re at war? It doesn’t fit with the view of the world he brought with him to the Oval Office. It doesn’t fit with what seems to be the goal of his presidency — social transformation — the restructuring of American society.”

Cheney was joining a chorus of Republicans who have criticized Obama following the Christmas Day attack, in which a Nigerian suspect is accused of trying to blow up a loaded airliner with a bomb stitched into his underwear.
