Where the f**** are all the Democrats?
Why they leave the media entirely to the RepublicNuts to blame the president for that near-disaster??? Obama is defending himself and his administration alone, from his vacation, and no one is having his back. Where are the congressional and senate democrat? Bunch of cowards and wimps!!

1. Is Obama defending himself?
What has he said? I haven't heard him on the attack.

4. Like the Republicans control the media...
The media just needs a story. If they just sit there and praise the president, there's no conflict, there's no story...

The vast majority of modern media is just unbelievably shallow. Compared to all the information you see flying around out there, there's just very little genuine analysis.

Get a fucking grip man. There's no conspiracy...

7. If this is the case then why did
they cheerlead Bush for 8 years? During the Bush years it would have been taboo to question the President during a national security breach. I think the Dems put country over party therefore they did not try to score cheap political points. On the other hand Republicans are all about winning the next election no matter the cost. Disgusting loons.

which means they have a little warm spot in their tiny hearts for our Confederate friends.

8. Why should the President attack others......
at this point?

That would just be titled by the MSM as "Obama trying to find an excuse,
and not being accountable".

He's the President of all the people,
and his oath is about keeping us safe...
for him to come out pointing fingers,
would be very ugly indeed,
and would be the wrong thing to do.

That's like elementary.

9. I didn't say he should
I'm suggesting that if other Dems aren't attacking, maybe it's because the White House doesn't want them to.

In fact, this article suggests that's exactly what's happening.

11. His oath is not about keeping us safe.
That litle bit of dis-information was invented by the last administration as part of their rational for their idiotic, phony "War On Terror".

His oath is about protecting and defending the constitution. That's it! Nothing in there about keeping us safe.

Here it is....short and sweet:

"I, (insert name), do solemnly swear (or affirm, for those who choose not to "swear") that I will faithfully execute the office of the President of the United States, and I will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."

5. Peter King had to dial it back from yesterday
I don't have a link here, but Peter King (R-NY) was completely in support of Obama's strategy today, as opposed to yesterday, where he was basically saying Obama didn't care about what happened.

I'm guessing that GOP is going to chill out on this. Of course, there are the Sean Hannity types, but they hate Obama...

16. Napolitano was out there soon after it happened
There are many people in the Obama administration who are likely establishing all the facts and will then speak. Because we have the Presidency, the Democrats in the administration are the people who have some responsibility here. Where is Panetta, the CIA head; Hillary Clinton, the State Deparment Secretary (the department that controls VISAs); the VP etc ? The answer is that if Obama wanted them out there they would be out there.

From the Senate, Joe Lieberman has spoken. He is the cair of Home land Security. The fact is that the Obama administration itself has to take the lead on this.

17. They are
somewhere letting our President take the brunt of this situation. It is up to IMHO that CIA,Secretary of State, and maybe FBI should have something to say since all those entities are the ones who are supposed to be on top of things like this. But until a complete investigation can be done there is not really much to say.The bits and pieces that they keep finding out they keep releasing to the media (troll s--t) which makes our Presidents administration look as if they are asleep at the wheel. But the one thing we do know that was released by the media is that they knew about this would be terrorist two years ago.Who was in charge then, oh yeah,it was Dubya/Shooter we kept the country safe.Don't believe the hype.

him chairing it.

I think the issue is that the progressives are already too extended defending themselves against the bill they are forced to pass (or already engaged on other topics), so you have to count on these good moderates that Obama likes so much, like Nelson or Landrieu.

Do you think any of those will defend Obama on these issues? Really? But those are the allies he has chosen to congratulate publicly.
