President Obama - Most Admired Man In America in 2009

..."Obama dominates the field among men at 30%, though his support also shows a partisan split. He was named by more than half of Democrats but just 7% of Republicans.
Though the president's job-approval rating has eroded during his first year in office, his standing as the most-admired man demonstrates "a very strong fan base," says Frank Newport, Gallup's editor in chief... "

".. Hillary Rodham Clinton and former Alaska governor Sarah Palin are virtually tied as most-admired woman...".

Palin??????

1. George Bush over Nelson Mandela??
Any group of people that would vote for Bush over Mandela don't deserve to be taken seriously.

3. And that my friends is what the hell is wrong with the republicans.
Other than their push to set Reagan on a pedestal what republican president or any republican has ever made the grade.

I think the fact that Clinton was so admired the world over is another reason they spent all the money trying to find something to impeach him on. And make no mistake. Right now they are furiously searching for something to "get" Obama on. They are messing their underwear because they can't. The only difference is they don't have a republican majority to get the job done.

5. It appears as if there is a small group on the left willing to make up the difference.
Just sayin....

I've already seen impeach Obama threads here and the calls to primary him before his first year in office is even up.

But don't bother trying to tell folks they are being useful idiots. Or manipulative trolls. Apparently it's more progressive to Kill the Bill than to see my unemployed sons allowed back on my insurance. It's more progressive to have nothing than to see 30 million more people covered in this country.

Yeah, it's break time for me. I can't stand this place anymore.

7. DOMINATES the field - they couldn't ignore the percentage difference
It also indicates that some people understand what a clusterfuck things generally are and aren't calling for him to get booted from his job when he's been at it less than a year.
