James Carville is sending me E-Mails asking me to Donate to DCCC. |
|
He says the RW is trashing us and I need to give money because 2010 is coming up and they are going to need help to stop the attacks.
I unsubscribed...but in the comment section asking why I was unsubscribing I told him my reasons, and I said I would be giving to individual Progressive Democratic Candidates in the future, because I felt that was more important than supporting DLC.
I'm sure there are many DU'ers here who will donate...and if you feel it's important then please do. But, James Carville is no friend to us. I was insulted that he was sending me an e-mail soliciting donations. Why is the DCCC using him to fundraise?

I've unsubscribed to several e-mail campaigns recently, and like you, I gave my reasons, and they are very similar.

4. Great post. I would probably burn |
|
my computer if he ever emailed me.
Robert Parry talked about how Carville is the one that took Kerry 'under his wing" and perrsuaded him to not interfere regarding the "situation" in Ohio on the morning after the 2004 election.
Carville is no friend to the real Dems fighting the real fight. He is a mudda f____ back stabber and why he is allowed to be close to Dem candidates is a mystery to me.

5. and as fewer and fewer progressives donate to the DCCC |
|
the less the DCCC cares about putting progressives in office, and thus the cycle continues.

6. I haven't gotten an email lately but I did get a phone call from the DSCC |
|
a while back. They told me how important it was for the Democrats to increase their majority in the Senate so they could get things done. I told them they needed a new script and I wasn't falling for that line again.

In terms of Carville, someone should tell him to pull the dildo out of his ass and kick his wife to the curb. They are both political hacks.

Take It Back, he pretty much outlined how the Dems should cave on certain issues if they wanted to regain power. He recommended that Democrats avoid the trap-issues such as abortion and gay rights. I believe he followed the playbook pretty well. Sadly we will all pay a price for the party taking his advice.
