Claire McCaskill says..
fuck you!!!

St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

McCaskill and many Democrats have felt the wrath of voters during the fierce partisan clash over the party's effort to overhaul the health insurance system. At a protest at her St. Louis office on Dec. 23, some in the crowd carried unflattering depictions of McCaskill with the words, "Obama's Joker." She doesn't stand for re-election until 2012.

"It's OK if I don't get re-elected," she said in an interview. "I've just kind of decided that, hey, I'm just going to do this, and Missouri's hard, so there's a chance, you know, that I won't get re-elected. And if I don't, that's OK. It's not the end of the world."

1. That is not fuck you.
That is doing what's right and not what will get her re-elected.

15. it's talking about doing what's right
I hear this self-congratulatory stuff from a lot of politicians. They do it to get re-elected. Claire McCaskill is constantly on TV so she can get reelected.

realizes that..just do what's right and whatever happens..so be it.

She says Missouri is tough but I'm reading that as ..they listen to too many lies and soak it up.

7. It would be nice if her signals were consistent. Once, she says "do the right thing",

the next day, she says "do what is popular". She has been a huge disappointment, just like all the other centrists.

But in November, the same McCaskill said tackling climate change legislation may need to be pushed off indefinitely, because, "After you do one really, really big, really, really hard thing that makes everybody mad, I don't think anybody's excited about doing another really, really big thing that's really, really hard that makes everybody mad."

It has always been the problem with her. (Remember she also said that it was a good thing that Obama downplayed the public option during his speech to congress.

Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO) said she was pleased with Obama talking last night about "handcuffing the public option" in an appearance on MSNBC's Morning Joe today. Watch the video below.

"He talked about handcuffing the public option, which is essential...for a moderate like me," she said. "Without handcuffing it, it could morph into a comprehensive government plan, which I think most moderates can't support."

12. So who do you recommend we run against her in the 2012 primary?
What Missouri Democrat can win her Senate seat?
