Candidate warning, if you're not a "geek" forgetaboutit. |
|
Minimum requirement; send and receive your own eMail.
Be able to throw together a 5 slide powerpoint presentation in a hour or two.
Fund raise over voip secure line.
Party candidate recruiter's need to get together a "geek" profile or get the hell out of the way.

3. At least 75% of those in Congress probably don't know how to do PPPs. |
|
If a candidate uses VOIP it's probably because their staff member had it set up.

7. The candidate doesn't need to be one that is tech savvy. |
|
It is only necessary for someone on the staff to be tech savvy.
As it is now, probably 99.9% of politicians have cell phones and know how to text. That is all they need.
The other stuff their staff can handle.

8. True for now, but I feel that is about to change bigtime. Tech policy and proposed bills |
|
are becoming very complex and in order for politicians to even have input to the discussions he/she will have to tech savvy and the staff twice as savvy.
