CBC reports that pregnant women won't have to do airport full body scans
Listening to Canadian Public Radio a minute ago, I heard this interesting tidbit.

Due to levels of microwave radiation from the devices, pregnant women will not need to have to go through full body scans at airports, according to Quirks and Quarks reporter Bob McDonald (www.cbc.ca/quirks/). It could be too much of a health risk.

So why not raise this issue to Republicans and others who want to make this a new policy for getting on an aircraft. Imagine the heads exploding on this...

6. Imagine that...
Could you see one of those workers trying to decipher whether the doctor's note is legit or not. Maybe Lieberman might propose you have a mark brandished on your forehead that says "With Child"...

8. I'm sure that'll be the next fear-mongering tactic.
The Becktards will be convinced that some girl will wear a fake "pregnant belly" with a bomb in it, thus they'll have to subject everyone to yet more invasive security...

9. Good but how do they prove they're pregnant?
How many would want to take advantage of this rule?

10. Here!
And I'm 51 y.o. :silly:

However, you never know. I wonder if these FULL BODY SCANNERS actually do risk "fetal harm" how many law suits will be filed?!?

I also WONDER, which right wing CRAZY is getting RICH because he/she has bought stock in these particular "full body scanners?"

Remember that Rumsfeld is significantly richer due to his investments in TamiFlu? :(

12. Chertoff has been pimping for Invasion of the Body Scanners since 2006
As Cheney made lots of money from Halliburton, Chertoff is looking forward to lining his pockets with body scanners.

Fear sells.
