VPOTUS Returns Home as Jean Biden is Seriously Ill
Edited on Thu Jan-07-10 02:37 PM by Clio the Leo
Vice President Biden is in Wilmington, Del., Thursday with his mother, who "has taken seriously ill in recent days," according to White House guidance.

Biden is joined there by other family members.

And when I got knocked down by guys bigger than me — and this is the God's truth — she sent me back out and said, "Bloody their nose so you can walk down the street the next day." And that's what I did.

Prayers for Miss Jean and the Biden family.

1. That beautiful lady! She looks so much like my mother when she was
in her early 90s.

I'm so glad the dear woman has lived long enough to see her son become vice president. She must have had, and still has, such joy from it.

4. That's too bad
I hope Miss Jean gets through this. It doesn't matter how old you or your parents get, you're just never going to be ready to face losing them.

8. Yes, how sad. I can see the love shine through when they glanced at one another.
What a beautiful image of a loving Mother and Son.

11. And the way she glowed during the Democratic Convention
watching her son on stage was priceless. What an extraordinary family.

15. Oh no, I love that lady!
While I realize she's surely had an amazing, full life, it's still incredibly sad to me because she really seems like a lady after my own heart, you know? :(

I'll be keeping the Bidens in my thoughts.

17. You can tell they adore one another
When he was still in the primaries and giving a speech, in walks Jean, all bundled up in a poufy parka and comes over to him. Joe said, "Mom, I'm giving a speech!" They both laughed and hugged. It was so cute.

I'm so sorry for the family. And Joe has lost too many in his family already. :(
