Fear Not! Obama is "leading an extremist left-wing crusade!"
... says John McCain .... and he is apparently JUST the man to stop him! ('cause he did such a great job of stopping him the last time! Maybe he'll make Bristol Palin Speaker of the House or something.)

I thought some of you might find this notion reassuring. That darned lefty Obama and his stinkin' far lefty ways! :)

2. McCain wouldn't know an extremist left-wing crusade
if it bit him on the ass.

4. Yeah but he's a war hero....
.... I'm not sure if you're aware of that or not .... and one time, he didn't even have a table!

LENO: "For a million dollars, how many houses do you have?"

SEN. McCAIN: "Could I just mention to you, Jay, that, at a moment of seriousness. I spent five-and-a-half years in a prison cell," McCain said. "I didn't have a house. I didn't have a kitchen table. I didn't have a table. I didn't have a chair. And I didn't spend those five-and-a-half years because, not because I wanted to get a house when I got out."

17. Double negative in that last sentence you quote.
rrrroighhht! He didn't do it because he wanted a table, not just any table, but THE table, the power to control other people's lives.

3. As if I needed proof McCain has lost touch with reality.
He just cannot accept that he lost the election.
I'd feel sorry for him if I wasn't so grateful he lost and Obama won.

6. They really can't handle having lost this last one, can they?
Of course, republicans are bad on elections in general. They try to keep the masses from registering to vote, they refuse to abide by a close outcome (e.e. Coleman) yet refuse recounts if requested by the other side, and then when it's finally clear that yes, they lost, they start attacking the legitimacy of everyone who won and working to stymie all progress on everything. This is not at all "normal" behavior, although it seems to be such for conservatives.

7. I would be taken aback if I could expect some basic civility from you.
I know that my opinion irritates you but it's uncool to talk smack about other members behind their backs. It would be nice, if you cared but you probably do not.

10. I am sorry to hear McCain has joined the other nuts. They apparently
do not know left from right. The GOP are much worse off than
I thought.

Psst, McCain, do not look so out of touch. Obama abandoned the
left long ago. Where have you been?? He has been brainwashed
by the Right in our Party.
