Republicans are trying every trick in the book in the race to replace Kennedy.
Edited on Fri Jan-08-10 07:48 PM by TheBigotBasher
Often unreported, the most obvious one is of course running a Joe Kennedy in a State steeped in Kennedy family history. Joe Kennedy is no relation at all to the Kennedy family and although he has been described as an "independent" and even as a Liberal, he is the Libertarian Party candidate.

I trust that the voters of Massachusetts are able to pick up the obvious fraud before pulling a lever in the name of Kennedy. This of course is a pure spoiler tactic straight out of the Rove play book.

It should be noted that Rasmussen phrased their Massachusetts poll this way:

“Who do you favor for U.S. Senate? Scott Brown, Martha Coakley, Some other candidate, or Not Sure?”

Now the fake Liberals are appearing. And of course, Huffington Post has fallen for it. Hook line and sinker. Amy Siskind is one such fake Liberal. She writes for the hate site NoQuarter and runs a Women's group that has served to act as a continuous puff piece for Sarah Palin. She is the way in for Sarah Palin for the minds of some Democratic supporters.

The New Agenda is worse than PUMA Lite it is an offshoot of Sarah PAC.

Unfortunately she also writes for the Huff Po.

In an completely dishonest article Siskind calls on Oakley to commit political suicide. Of course she won't. That is the point. The article is a tool to use HuffPo as a way of promoting the Republican candidate.

As we know, unlikely bedfellows are uniting in opposition to Obama’s health care reform. Independent bloggers who oppose health care reform see MA Republican candidate Scott Brown as their best hope to shoot it down. Former Hillary Clinton supporters who were pro-Coakley last month, now are signing up to phone bank for Republican Scott Brown here and here in an effort to defeat health care. Even a lifelong women’s advocate informed me this week that she was backing Brown to shoot down Stupak/Nelson. Strange days indeed.

Which is why Martha Coakley should seize on this moment. Coakley should change her position and run against health care reform. In doing so, not only will she cement a win in Massachusetts, but also establish herself as a modern day Eleanor Roosevelt at a time when women are desperate for leadership.

One of the other tasks that The New Agenda set itself wa to undermine the work of real Women's Rights groups such as NOW. The Anti Race Hate Co-ordinator for Now specifically called out The New Agenda for spreading lies that it was able to effect their elections.

Martha Coakley was successful in her Primary because she had the support of Women's Rights groups.

So who are the three sites she links to? These so called Clinton supporters?

Texas Darlin.
Banned from hate site NoQuarter for using them as a launchpad for the birther movement. All her posts were scrubbed from there because of a complete lack of evidence to support any of her claims.

NoQuarter
Moderated, almost, but in the run up to the Inauguration, Johnson had to very publicly calm his readers down after they started talking about assassinations. They have subsequently run disgustingly racist articles about children, Michelle Obama and of course the President.

HillBuzz.
The most despicable of them all. They have called black people, "paranoid and lazy" and "race voters". This blog has been pushed and promoted by Rush Limbaugh. It is being used as a tool to inspire Republicans, through racism and bigotry to get out and vote. It is then disguised as a Liberal blog so no one calls them out on their racism.

Arianna Huffington should be ashamed that she is allowing HuffPo to promote actual real racists. Arianna, you are being used.

1. I got a call from the bRown campaign a few days ago. I kind of chuckled to myself,
then simply told the caller, "I'm sorry. There is no way that I could ever vote for a republican. Thanks for your call."

Then I hung up.

4. I'm not sure she knows that she is being used to promote racism though
Siskind is a nasty piece of work and the blogs she is promoting are the lowest of the low.

10. Siskind presents herself as a Liberal Clinton supporting feminist.
Something she is most definitely not.
