Can Rachel Maddow get any better? She keeps topping herself show after show
Tonight she parsed out Rudy Giuliani's comments regarding no terrorist attacks during Bush's administration. She went through terrorist attacks we know about and how Rudy could not have meant each and every one that happened during W's time in office.

She concluded with how this Rudy event has probably ended his political career. It was a segment to remember - no, make that savor. Catch the repeat or look for the video. You don't want to miss it. I could almost hear a distant death knell for Rudy's political aspirations.

now Rachel is going to cover it. But somehow, she makes it seem fresh. She's just so damn good. My favorite of them all.

12. Unfortunately, all day, every day, usually. I did watch a documentary on the
Dust Bowl today, though. But I kept flipping back to MSNBC and ended up recording the rest of it when O'Donnell came on. :7

A real geek would be watching C-Span all day.

touch her for clarity of expression.

7. It was great wasn't it?
I just wish she had more exposure than MSNBC, which in some markets is a premium channel. I'll bet if NBC put her in that 10:00 PM slot that they are dumping Jay Leno on, not only would the lead-in to the local news be fabulous, but she could change the world.

8. Can you imagine if that happened?!
I think about her exposure just about every evening. She does this great segment and I wonder who is watching.

One thing I believe is that Rudy or his allies will see this one tonight and they'll be wincing. I think she did this to try and get him to visit with her on the show. He might as well get it over with. Just about everyone else has broken down and done it, even that old fart from The Family.

10. I'm thinking she has to be a little bit Oprah, like entertaining to keep
the short attention crowd watching, you know do her bar tending schtick..fun and other fun things that she used to do on her radio show. But she could really get this serious political stuff going in between and it's so educational for the dumb, dumbs. WINNA!

11. She was awesome on Letterman last nite.
I just LOVE her - and you can tell she is gaining steam because the repugs hate her.

She's brilliant, witty, adorable and has such a pleasing voice.

.... watching her AND Letterman having a an adult .... but humorous .... discussion about politics is enough to wipe away about 500 Beck clips from your mind.

13. If she were a man and/or straight......
..... she'd be the new anchor of ABC News ...... well, no, she's too liberal .... but still.

She's one of the best in the business. I wish more big names would go on her show but I can understand why the opposition (Liberman included) doesn't.

19. Rachel Maddow is truly a gem.
I've been following Rachel since I first heard her on Air America a few years ago. A great mind with progressive values and a razor sharp wit. All the success she is having is very well deserved, and I'm looking forward to many more years of great things from her!

Go Rachel!

26. Funny, I didn't think she was as effective on radio, I don't know why.
I actually didn't like her show that much. It wasn't as punch in the gut as her TV show is. Plus, I think she was really made for the camera. And she has great guests...always a pleasure...

21. She thinks Steele wants to run for President!!!!!
Oh MY what a gift that would be!!!! ..... He'd be 10 times more fun than that Palin woman!!! ....... it would be worth it to watch the President stand next to him during a debate with a puzzled look on his face as if to say "who IS this idiot and WHERE did he come from and WHY am I wasting my time?" ..... lol, he'd probably end the debate after 15 mins saying, "um ... yeah .... this has been fun but I have some work to do."

24. I have a daily Rachel podcast ritual
I have a two hour train commute in the morning and at night. Each night I down load 4 Rachel podcasts.

Three shows that are a year old from Green 960, I fall asleep to the first one, dream to the second one, and wake up to the third one.

Then, on the way home, I listen to the MSNBC show from the night before.
