Giuliani: 'I Do Remember Sept. 11'
Rachel Slajda | January 8, 2010, 5:53PM

Rudy Giuliani appeared on CNN this afternoon in an attempt to explain what he meant when he claimed that no domestic terrorist attacks happened under President George W. Bush.

"I usually say, 'We had no major domestic attacks under President Bush since September 11,'" he told Wolf Blitzer.

"I did omit the words, 'since September 11,' and I apologize for that," he went on. "I do remember September 11. In fact, Wolf, I remember it every single day and usually, frequently during the day."

4. I am amazed that they got him to talk about Sept 11.
How did they manage?

On a related note, they should have asked the interviewer why he didn't have Guilliani make the correction during the interview.

5. He can't even lie well
"every single day and usually, frequently during the day"

Every day and frequently during the day? Does that mean that infrequently he doesn't think about 9/11 during the day?

6. A classic right-wing lying sonuvabitch
"There's only three things he mentions in a sentence: a noun, a verb and 9/11," Biden said.

25. Larry King reminded of the Shoebomber
and even then, I think he said it happened before Bush took office. He's a totally despicable individual and it always amazed me that it took the country so long to realize that he was anything but a hero on 9/11. He completely ignored the threat of terrorism despite the 1993 bombing at the WTC until 9/11.

He completely failed to protect NYC from terror attacks and on the day it happened, he wandered around the city dazed, as the command center he foolishly insisted on building on the site of what everyone knew was a potential terrorist target against all advice, was destroyed. Then he spent his time talking to the media. When I saw him that day all I could think of was what an arrogant fool he was and what a failure. It was a total shock to people in NY when the media made a hero out of him. I couldn't believe people around the country knew so little about him that they actually believed it.

You're a piece of shit, Ghouliani.

You're a useless, pointless, waste of space who is taking up oxygen that could be used by a legitimate human being.

May you NEVER know a MOMENTS Peace the rest of your pathetic, worthless life.

26. I recall exactly: We were attacked by terrorists in our own land ...
Edited on Sat Jan-09-10 03:04 AM by Trajan
While the GOP controlled all three branches of government ....

Just after the Texas oil barons in the administration bungled discussions with their friends in the Afghani-Taliban over some silly pipeline, and began an exchange of bellicose threats ...

Just after that same GOP government reduced anti-terrorism spending by some 58 MILLION dollars ...

Just after Numbskull Boosh crumpled an intelligence report stating 'Bin Laden Determined to Strike US' into a ball and tossed it into a wastebasket as he scooted out the door to cut some Waco brush for about a month on the public dime ....

Just after top administration officials begin flying chartered flights, avoiding domestic air carriers ...

Just after the top anti terrorism experts in the country were marginalized and pushed aside in the Bush WH hierarchy in favor of neocon dumbshits and an ostrich-like terrorism policy ...

Yep .. just after all that: Under a GOP president, GOP Congress, GOP controlled Judiciary, and a government bureaucracy infected through and through with extreme right wing GOP Neoconservative philosophies ...

Just after all that: Rudy finally got his 9-11 ...

Ah ... Memories ....

Lucky Bastard ...

27. And there was also Katrina ~
9/11, The Anthrax attacks and The Shoebomber and the loss of a US city.

Then there was the total collapse of the economy by domestic terrorists.

All on Bush's watch ~

Giuliani has always been a liar. He was so thrilled over the prospect of more 'terror', I think he may have done himself in this time.

But then again, maybe not.
