I continue to be amazed by the ignorance (and lies) coming from the right
Just found this on a local board (a discussion about Obama's speech addressing the underwear bomber):

As for Obama, yesterday he assumed responsibility for the failures himself.

A little like Jesus taking on the sins of mankind.

Giving his followers another Christ reference.

As if they needed one.

I take it this wingnut forgot that Dubya claimed God told him to be president.

2. Instead they pull this crap out of the air about Obama comparing himself to Jesus
They lie as easily as they breathe.

5. Obama - and no Democrat - can do anything correct
He could slit his throat & write his resignation out in his own blood, turning over power to Sarah Palin - and they'd criticize his penmanship & choice of cutlery.

3. The bottom line is simple
They can lie all they want, they can twist facts, make things up whatever they want as longs their brain dead base listens to them, and believes it! The operate on "fear" and fear is a great motivator. The so called Christian right, the racists, the teabaggers and the just plain crazies are taking over the party, especially the teabagger bunch. The funny thing is that I see the teabaggers going after the so called "christian" right on other boards. The teabaggers have no tolerance at all for anyone that doesn't buy into their crazy ideas, and they are not only going after liberals, but those on the right that they think are not "conservative" enough to be "real" conservatives! I see a lot of problems coming up in the republican party, and all the lies, and all the spin they use won't stop the divisions that are on the way by the time the elections come around this year!

4. Yes their infighting is the greatest gift the Democrats will have in Nov 2010
Plus it is rather entertaining. :)

6. It's what they do
They lie to themselves, they lie to each other.

8. Even more amazing (and scary) is that 40% of the country believes
everything they say. Depending on the subject even higher percentages can be reached.
Remember how an informed electorate is necessary for a democracy?
