The GOPmay be stuck with Steele.
If they try to oust him it will be a replay of the Florida firing of Jim Greer. But it will be on the biggest media stage with devastating effects on the national rather than a local level. I admit to a prurient interest in watching the barbarians of the Teabaggers devouring the effete Republican elite that spawned but can no longer control them. For all the gloom and doom being prophesied by Chris Mathews and Charley Cook, the real danger of political party implosion is on the right. As they have sewn so shall they reap.

1. Steele is toast
It will be the removal of Steele that brings the rabid teabaggers back into the fold.

2. Because he's a member of the "effete Republican elite"
Yes, that's it. I can't think of any other possible reason why your average teabagger might object to him.

4. Now that's poetry.
I admit to a prurient interest in watching the barbarians of the Teabaggers devouring the effete Republican elite that spawned but can no longer control them.

5. They have screwed the pooch on this decision to hire Steele
if they let Steele go he will not shut his mouth. He is being constrained now (if you want to call it that) imagine what he will do and say if he is ousted?

7. Yeah, but how could Steele redeem himself? Every time he gets jiggy, they grit their teeth.
I thought it would all be fun, but I feel sorry for steele. He cant win. And all he objects to are the birther type freaks.

8. Steele did it to himself
I can't feel sorry for him he knew exactly what he was dealing with when he took to the position. He wanted to dance with the devil.....

9. They deserve him
because of the sole reason, I believe, that they picked him: The color of his skin.

12. I hope they're stuck with Steele.
Even if they do fire him, it will make for an epic inter-GOP pissing contest. Either way, it's pure entertainment from our perspective...

13. I'll bet money he'll be gone by Dec 31st before the ball drops and 2011 starts
But I think it's going to be sooner then later, like in the next couple of months. He's got multiple problems: 1) He's got a big mouth; 2) He's too moderate; 3) He's clearly not doing his job, but instead using the position for his own benefit.

I think once they can him, they'll offer enough money to shut him up for awhile. There's one thing for sure about Steele, his silence can be bought.
