3. lol, I doubt he's eating pie....
.... gotta stay light on your feet to do all of that running back and forth. It's like a scene from The West Wing. :)

(for those who need a mental picture)

Unions folks were in the big tan room, Congresspeople in the big blue room, little Barry runs back and forth (and occasionally into the Oval to take a phone call from the PM of wherever.)

9. The dining room isn't by the lobby?
Edited on Thu Jan-14-10 01:38 PM by levander
Hopefully some of those rooms are bigger than they look in the picture. That dining room looks tiny.

It's also interesting how the Chief of Staff's office has it's door facing away from the Vice Presidents office. I guess if the Chief of Staff and VP aren't getting along so great, it offers a kind of "buffer", where they don't have to look at each other all the time. :) Smart.

7. More meetings today
Negotiations resume at 2:30
Leading House Democrats will take a break from their annual issues conference on Thursday to head back to the White House at 2:30 for another negotiating session over the health care bill, according to a congressional aide.

President Barack Obama will then make the trip down Pennsylvania Avenue to address Democrats in the Capitol Visitor Center at 5 this evening.
