1. FAUX news
Until we come up with an answer to them, we will always be at a disadvantage.

3. But they're always on CNN, too. They're also often guests on Sunday shows like
MTP.

8. hmmm... you have a point about that
my first thought is the Obama people are way to busy to be appearing on TV, what with all the disasters and cleaning up Bush's mess. Perhaps if the Bush people spent less time on TV there wouldn't be such a huge mess to clean up.

You do raise a good point and it reminds me of an interesting article I read a few months back that suggests that the Obama administration is lacking in star power. That Obama doesn't have the army of people to send on TV to push the administration's agenda. Not sure what the answer is though.

11. Well...
Bush's people found time during THEIR admin. They had an elaborate scheme-they'd plant stories in newspapers then go on Sunday shows to cite them as "proof" of things.

I kind of agree that Obama's admin. needs people with star power, but they have a couple people-like John Brennan who was very good, Goolsbee seemed very good, and, ummm, I don't know who else...

9. Much as I hate to admit it the GOP is good at media manipulation
I once took a class with a very media savy professor. He asked us who is an "expert" on home improvement. Immediately everyone said Bob Villia. Then he asked what made him any more of an expert than all the other contractors out there. No one had an answer, other than he has his own TV show. The lesson being is that all one has to do is call around offering yourself up as an expert and the lazy media is thankful. The Dems really need to learn from the enemy on this one.

2. DNC party culture is to "trust" the media and counter punch stupidly...I'm more disappointed
...in the TP's coming from the Obama admin than anything else. The should know better by now to get in front of the misinformation the M$M will allow the GOP to put out KNOWING the M$M culture is not to challange people.

10. Repeat a lie often enough and with enough conviction
and sooner or later you start getting believers.
