8. how accurate can these polls be that even show a close race?
I mean, 4x as many Democrats voted in the primary than Republicans. Even splitting votes among other Democrats, Coakley had twice as many votes winning her primary than Brown did winning his. It doesn't seem like that many Democrats will actually stay home during the election considering they showed up en masse for the primary, Coakley's raised far more money and has more money on hand, and... it's frigging Massachusetts. Shouldn't this really be along a 60% Coakley 40% Brown matchup? I am just not buying these last couple of polls.

25. Aparently, 17 % of the Democrats is considering to vote
for Mr Centerfold. A Paleologos poll just put Brown at 50 % and Coakley at 46 %, with 1 % undecided.

12. The numbers are probably even better for Coakley since there are so many more Dems.
than Repubs. in MA, I hope.

19. Well the problem is that there hasn't been much good polling
2 out of the last 3 were robo polls

I saw Rasmussen and he was backing off of a Brown victory basically saying it would be a miracle.

Edited on Thu Jan-14-10 10:20 PM by Mass
Given their track record, I dont trust them too much, but Andy Hiller (local NBC) is pimping his poll as a total reversal.

However, their latest poll has Coakley ahead by 30 (done in Nov), so this may be anything.

It went out to people who are sure to show up and vote for her, anyway.

Word now is he's going to Massachetts to stump for her--if he does, I'll give credit where credit's due.
