10. I agree with you on that one

Clinton has been doing these kinds of fundraisers for awhile though. He seems at his best element when he does them. It's almost sad to see Bush sitting there with him given he makes hardly any public apparences and has been in hiding for a year.

12. Considering how much time Bush spent fundraising when he was in office
he looks like he doesn't have a clue how to do it. Very uncomfortable, staring at the teleprompter, with no sign he gets what he's reading. Clinton looks natural, and at least gives the impression he believes what he says.

3. So fuck the Haitians, as long as you can maintain your purity

by not giving to a cause that Bush supports? I loathe the guy, but if he can get his wingnut buddies to kick in a few bucks, I'm all for it.

6. It's far more important to stay pure in one's disdain for W.
Never mind that he might actually be able to do something useful for once in his sorry life.

7. Amazing egoism.
I find the whole Clinton-Bush Fund incredibly refreshing - a nation puts political differences aside and bands together to serve in a time of unimaginable crisis. It's time for "all hands on deck!"

11. I burst out laughing this morning
When Dumbya was on one of the morning talk shows. As the former president and the former office thief ticked off talking points on their Haitian relief effort, Dumbya made the point that during times of distress, con artists pop up with fake relief organizations.

He said, "You can trust us." I laughed and laughed, thinking there was no one on earth I would trust less than this schmoe.
