Teabaggers at Brown rally: "She's a phony!" shouted another. "Shove a curling iron up her butt!"
QUOTE OF THE DAY.... In Massachusetts this morning, Scott Brown campaigned in West Springfield, where the conservative Senate hopeful complained about the tone of the campaign.

"I'll tell you what," Brown said, using a megaphone to address the crowd. "There's negative campaigning, and then there's malicious campaigning."

"She's malicious!" a man in the crowd cried out. "She's a phony!" shouted another. "Shove a curling iron up her butt!" a third man interjected a few moments later.

Yes, because it's not ironic at all to complain about "malicious" campaigning while your supporters call for assaulting the state Attorney General with a curling iron.

As for the rest of the afternoon, President Obama is scheduled to campaign alongside Martha Coakley in about an hour. Around the same time, Brown will host a rally with a retired baseball player, a retired football player, and the guy who played a mailman on "Cheers" 20 years ago.

As for the controversy surrounding Brown's comments about President Obama's family, a spokesperson for the conservative Republican said Brown "doesn't believe" that Obama's parents were unmarried when he was born. The GOP campaign did not, however, apologize for the ugly remarks.

DNC spokesperson Hari Sevugan added: "Why did he say it then? Whether it's on this issue, or choice or taxes, Scott Brown has a disturbing and telling history of saying one thing at one time, and another thing later on. The only thing that's clear is that Scott Brown is not who he says he

12. Yep, the media has been biased against us since Obama won
It's not hard to read the tea leaves, I mean look at the past year.

-Some news stations inviting as many as 7 people to be interviewed who were against the stimulus to every 1 person they interviewed who supported it.

-The media buying into and talking about proven lies about the healthcare bill as if they were facts, like death panels. Such 'news' shouldn't even be worthy of being published simply because it's not true.

-Giving heavy media focus to Neocons who claimed Obama wanted to 'brainwash' children by telling them to work hard and stay in school (and failing to mention for the most part that the guy who started the rumor did the exact same thing, at times even saying at school assemblies "republicans wake up and go to work every day, democrats wake up and collect welfare checks everyday")

-Playing up every time Obama's poll numbers drop even a bit, and never mentioning when they go up. Or maybe they just thought we wouldn't notice if they say "Obama's polling numbers drop to 54%" every week or two as the margin of error makes his number hover around a bit.

Unfortunately they do this stuff all the time, we benefited from it before in 2006, but now they're after us.

Like pointing out the fact that you support denying rape victims emergency contraception because of "religious beliefs?"

18. Well if the
people of MA don't get out and make it happen then this is what they have to look forward to,ignorant uninformed rhetoric that is designed to focus on non issues.Someone to tell them what they want, feel, and need. The Neocons believe they have a direct line to God to tell them that.Instead of the people and the economic climate of the country. With that in mind and the previous administration, they should be running to the polls with their familly, friends, and anyone else that is registered to vote.To defeat the neocon powers that be.

and we all know he didn't....but if the people of Ma..can't figure out who should have the job...then there isn't much anyone else can say or do for them....I always thought of that area of the states, as high fallutin', society types, who wouldn't say shit, if their mouths were full...apparently things/attitudes are not as I thought they were if they can't see past the nastiness, and centerfold pictures... wb

so then, after reading about the child abuse case mentioned below...was the guy who said it, a plant...to bring that case back to people's minds?...I can only say I wouldn't want that case following me around...and I will leave further comments unsaid...
