2. I agree, sadly many here do not... |
|
It seems to me that many people here only hate hecklers if they are interrupting people we like.
When Code Pink interrupts a Republican State of the Union for example, or conservatives are shouted down or pie'd on college campuses, well, those things seem to be applauded all too often here.
Heckling is always bad. If you don't like what someone has to say, leave, or politely wait your turn and ask a tough question is time is allotted for it.

38. Is it bad when Karl Rove is heckled because he is a war criminal? |
|
Or John Woo for inventing excuses for torture? Heckling is appropriate sometimes.

It is an attempt to suppress free speech. They should expect to be roughly ejected or worse for tampering with the Constitution.

hahahahahaha
I do not think you understand the Constitution or free speech. It doesn't only work when people are speaking supportively.

11. You have no right to invade someone else's meeting. |

Create your own forum to oppose something. That is the Constitution. Invade and you lose any rights.

No, that is not the Constitution.
You do realize, don't you, that even if you trespass on someone else's property, that you still have some right? Just checking to make sure you know that.

5. First they are egotists |
|
they think people want to hear what they have to say. It gets that little old ding dong bouncing. They just go to these things to do this. Notice how republicans only ammo is to try to disrupt democrats rallies, town hall meetings, these speeches. They have nothing to offer the public but discord, lies and hate. I don't know why some one NOT RUNNING FOR OFFICE doesn't give a speech and ""make that perfectly clear"..shades of you know who.

the whole thing would turn around! She'd win it if we did that! There's nothing America loves better than to see fellow-citizens shot down like Chinese dissidents. Hell, roll a tank over a couple of these obstreperous gadflies, and she'd win in a landslide!
