Go, Ed!
He's making a passionate appeal to liberals right now to support Coakley. No one was more gung ho about single payer and real reform. Tune in.

1. i can't imagine any democrat
not voting for her. they've said she didn't go out and shake hands and ask for the vote. is that a reason to vote for the republican whose views are the opposite of the dem?

2. And yet
Edited on Mon Jan-18-10 06:23 PM by senseandsensibility
this thread was unre'd early. I am a leftwing liberal by any measure, but to vote against Coakley in this situation is akin to voting for * in FLA in 2000. There's "purity", and there's "stupidity." I try to avoid the latter.

4. Yes, and as you said,
because she didn't ask for their vote? I will never understand some people.

8. It's not the liberals that are Coakley's problems. It's the unaffiliated voters
She's been bleeding them quickly.

16. Exactly! have I said how fed up I am with independents? they're a problem to both
progressive democrats and conservative republicans, they're too fickle, and I just want to scream for them to get off the damn fence and choose a side, but stop this waffling. One election they go one way, the next election they go the other way.
